Project Scope & Details
MHN Engineering built a complete aviation fuel handling facility at Kabul International Airport for the Air Corps, centred on two 50,000-gallon aviation fuel storage tanks with associated safety systems. The tanks were fabricated to aviation-fuel standards and set on engineered foundations.
The scope extended to a fuel operations building, a pump house for the fuel system and a truck maintenance building with a fuel offload point. Piping, pumps and controls were installed to move fuel safely from delivery to aircraft supply.
The commissioned facility gives the Air Corps a self-contained, standards-compliant aviation fuel operation on the airfield.
