Project Scope & Details
MHN Engineering fabricated a heavy-duty 87,000-litre fuel storage tank at Forward Operating Base Shank, built from 6.2 mm steel plate to withstand demanding field conditions. The tank was rolled, welded and erected on site to full quality-control standards.
Every seam was welded by certified welders and subjected to inspection and testing before the tank was put into service. Foundations, supports and connection nozzles were engineered to match the fuel service and site loads.
The completed tank added dependable bulk fuel storage capacity to the base, supporting continuous generator and vehicle operations.
